28th may The Crafters Companion Love brings you Embossed Lilies today


CRAFTERS COMPAINION PRODUCT LIST:

STAMPS-

CARDSTOCK-
Centura Pearl-snow white hint of silver A4 300gm
Hint of Gold Ochre A4 4602

EMBOSSING FOLDERS:
Lily Collage SD-EF5-3D-LILC

COLOUR-
Spectrum Noir Colour Tint pencils. Primary and Nature

OTHER PRODUCTS USED:
Versa-Mark, Heat gun, 3D foam tape, Double sided tape, Gold embossing powder, Fussy cutting scissors, Ruler, Organza ribbon, Zutter bow making tool, Orange, Diamond and green stickles, Matching core cardstock, Paper sander, Hot glue gun.



MEASUREMENTS FOR THIS CARD: 21cm x 17.5cm
#1 14.7 cm x 19.8cm White Largest card front
#2 Cut from Ochre 2mm smaller each side
#3 Cut from white card stock1.2cm each side
#4  Cut from the core card stock 17cm x 11.9cm…this is to be embossed then sanded.

 INSTRUCTIONS:
#1 Prepare the slider card base. Click HERE to see how this card base is made.

#2 Taking the Ochre cardstock, cut matting card to cover card back, front foot and slider. Emboss these pieces with the embossing folder.

#3 To make the card front, use the measurements in the measurement for this card list.

#4 Taking the organza ribbon and Zutter bow making tool, make a double triple bow. Adhere this to the top of the card slider so it will still show when the card slides open.


#5 Stamp the lilie flowers and leaves with gold embossing powder. Using the pencils, add colour to the stamped image. Adhere to the card front with glue and 3d foam tape or squares.

#6 To finish the card apply the stickles to the flowers and leaves..

#7 Stamp the sentiment with the gold embossing powder. Adhere the left of the flowers as seen on the card.




These 3D embossing folders are such fun to use....they make card making a breeze.

Take a look at how the embossing is so deep. The sanding helps to bring out the pattern.

Crafters Companion love today is about...Lemon Zest...




Crafters Companion Product used:
AquaBlend by Spectrum Noir: Artist’s watercolour Pencils,
A4 watercolor card-stock,
Water brush,
CREATE-A-CARD: Side Stepper Card Die set
A Little Bit Sketchy: Lemon Zest Stamp set,
Gemini


Other products used: 
A4 Kraft card-stock, Black archival ink, Misti stamping tool, Fussy cutting scissors, 3d foam tape or squares, green cardstock, Paper distressed.


Size of Card: Card base-15cm x 10.5cm, finished card- 16cm x 10.5cm


Instructions:
1. Taking the Kraft card stock and the side step card die set. With the help of the Gemini and card instruction book sold with the die, die cut the card base as to instructions.

2. Taking the A4 watercolor card-stock, black ink, the Lemon Zest stamp and Misti-stamping tool. Stamp booth images x3

3.Taking the Aqua pencils and add colour to the images.

4. Stamp the sentiment and cut as seen on the card front. Apply the same yellow ink to the cut words as the lemons.

5. Taking the green cardstock, cut to fit the card front and side steps by using the dies in the die set. Cut the cardstock with the stamped image to size.

6. With the fussy cutting scissors cut away parts of the stamped image to form the 3d stamped image. Adhere all the fussy cut pieces in place as seen in the card photo.


This sure is a great card die to have as you can use it so much!....and it's fun to make.
I love anything that makes myeline easier....lol.
