Heartfelt Creations Wednesday with the Classic Rose collection.

Hi to you all on this wonderful fine day, another classic rose card. I love this collection! This is a true sell out collection so be quick to order get it in your stash!...I am sure it will be on back order pretty soon....sorry they can not help it over there at Heartfelt Creations. Card stock: Crafters Companion hint of gold 300gm A4 x2, White card stock, Apricot.
Other: Versa-mark, Heat gun, Walnut stain distress ink, Foam inking tool, White seam binding ribbon, Double sided tape, Glossy accents.



INSTRUCTIONS:

This Z slider card fits into an envelope that measures 22 cm x 21 cm when completed. NOTE: All the stamping is done with the gold embossing powder.
To make the card base: Taking the A4 cardstock and score at 6 cm and at 12 cm along the long edge. Fold into valley and hill folds. This will form the card front foot (6 cm x 20.8 cm) and card front background (17.7 cm x 20.8 cm). For the slider cut 11.5 cm x 7 cm. For the card front cut 14 cm x 17 cm. All the matting layers will be cut at 2 mm smaller each side. Cut one matting layer in each of the Apricot card stock and the design paper found in the paper pad to fit all the card base elements. Ink the edges of the design paper with walnut stain ink. Adhere all the matting layers together, except the top edge of the card front and the first matting layer. This is so you can slide the slider between the card stock layers. If you forget to do this, don't panic. Then you make a band and adhere to the back of the card front. Fixed. Adhere the slider to the top center of the card background front. Adhere the card front to the center of the card foot. Slide the slider in to place. Stamp, color and shape the roses, leaves, swans and sentiment. Trim the sentiment. Make a full triple bow. Trim the leaf swirls as needed. Adhere the embellishments with the hot glue gun and the foam tape for the height. When adding the slider decoration, make sure the slider still slides before securing with glue. Apply the glossy to the Life is beautiful, the butterfly and the swans.

The gold is great but they also look just as good stamped on black ink.

#2 Wednesday with HEARTFELT CREATIONS AND FUN!

Hi, a card a bit different from my norm.
Simple but allot of fun..working with plastic this week.

Other: Hot glue gun, Versa-mark, Heat gun, White cardstock, Icicle Stickles, We R Memory Keepers embossing folder chevron, Water mister, Tumbled glass distress ink, Foam inking tool, Cream seam binding ribbon, Hot glue gun, Versa-mark, Heat gun


Instructions.
This Z slider card measures 15 cm x 13.5 cm when completed.
NOTE: All the stamping is done with the gold embossing powder and all the matting is cut 2 mm smaller each edge.


To make the card base, taking the cardstock, cut at 27 cm x 13.5 cm. Score fold lines at 6 cm and 12 cm. Fold this into hills and valley folds. This forms the background (15 cm x 13.5 cm) and foot of the card (6cm x 13.5 cm). Cut for the card slider, 4.5 cm x 11.5 cm. Cut for the card front, 10 cm x 13 cm. Cut also 2 layers matting from the same card stock for the card front back ground, card foot and card front. This card has only one layer for the matting for the slider but you could always make the 2nd for it. Emboss all top matting layers. Spray the Lindy's Azure Sea Asters to the embossing layers, diluting the color with the water mister as wanted also to get the color running down the card stock. Use the other colors to flick color spots to your work once all the layers are adhered together. When the misting is dry, adhere all the layers together. The card front piece to the center of the card foot.The slider, to the center of the card background top. Curl the edges of the matting up to give it a worn look. Please note. When adhering all together, leave the top of the card front open. This is so you can slide the slider between the card stock layers. Stamp, die cut and shape the flower circle x 2, adhere together to form a layered circle. Stamp and cut the butterfly from the white card stock and the clear card stock. Shape the clear card stock by using the heat gun. Using short bursts of heat and shaping with your fingers before the plastic cools. Apply more heat when needed for shaping. Place all the embellishments to the card front by first adhering the layered flower circle to the card front, the butterfly layers to the circle center. Make the sentiment. Trim and give the banner a curl. Adhere at the banner ends to hold the curve.



This was sure fun! I love to work with the plastic card stock..You can also try using your plastic packaging for this. Give any thing with in reason a go once.

Shaping the die cuts and cutting to size for the layering as you go.


Instructions:

Using the flower shaping tool kit to bring shape to the leaves and roses. Trim two of the circles to form an oval on the card front. Adhere the oval in place.  Use the remaining circle for the background card. Placement is at each side of the card front. Wrap the ribbon across the card foot and making a triple bow, secure all with the hot glue gun. For the birds, stamp, color, die cut and bring shape the birds with the flower shaping kit. Apply a layer of stickles to the wings and head of the birds. When dry apply a generous layer of glossy accents. Adhere the birds just above the bow. Make the sentiment by cutting 6 layers of the words best wishes, stack and adhere the layers together. Make the roses, 1 x large, 1x med large, 2 x med and 1 x rose bud and a few leaf vines. Once made, place the roses and leaves over the bow and under the birds.

Another week with this fantastic collection....WARNING!....it's another must have!...Yes you are right...but it is not going to stop. It just keeps on getting better and better. But, hey just look at these beautiful roses. Heartfelt Creations makes our life so much fun and easy.
With that thought I wish you happy visits to all the DT sites this morning and a happy scrappy inky day.
What am I going to do this afternoon....go up stairs and help my DH demolish the attack ready for the builder in two weeks....can't wait till it is finished. A true dream room! But at the moment I can't find a thing!...or what is worse...I know where it is but can't get at it!...the up side I have to go shopping to get one ( but don't want double, just new toys....hahaha) Till next week.

Using this to die for collection, I made a bracelet/corsage.
It was such fun to make. The roses can be coloured to what ever will match the combination you will be wearing. It can also be used to decorate a bottle of delicious wine given as a gift.

Other Products Used: Cardstock: Rose beige, and Green. Other: Heat gun, Hot glue gun, Versa-mark, A metal or plastic bracelet, Black satin ribbon.


Instructions:

Note: All the stamping is done with the gold embossing powder. All the gluing is done with the hot glue gun. All the leaf vines are double layered adhere together before placing on the bracelet; this gives a light look and also strengthens the die cut. To begin, make the roses, stamp, die cut and shape 3 large, 4 med and 6 buds. Wrap the bracelet twice with the black ribbon so you have a good base to work with. Secure the join with glue. Where the join is, this is your starting point for the corsage.  First place a leaf vine then the buds. Arrange the roses and leaves as you go. Making sure it all fits neatly and tightly clustered along the bracelet. Ending of course with a few buds with a trail of vine leaves.

To tidy the back of the work and to make a nice finish, make a looped ribbon bow. Glue in place behind the leaves and roses. Glue down any lose swirl, leaves and ribbon loops where needed.


Tip: This bracelet can also be used to decorate a wine or perfume bottle as a gift.

Other:  Spellbinders-S6-036 Victorian letters, Heat gun, Hot glue gun, Versa-mark, Archival black ink, Walnut stain distress ink, Foam inking tool, Double sided tape, Chameleon Color Tones Olive green-OL3


INSTRUCTIONS:
This Z slider card measures 17.5 cm x 21 cm when completed. NOTE: All the stamping is done with the gold embossing powder.
To make the card base: Taking the A4 cardstock and score at 6 cm and at 12 cm along the long edge. Fold into valley and hill folds. This will form the card front foot (6 cm x 20.8 cm) and card front background (17.7 cm x 20.8 cm). For the slider, cut 11.5 cm x 7 cm. For the card front cut 14 cm x 17 cm. Then you make a band measuring16.5 cm x 2 cm and adhere to the top back side of the card front. Use this for the slider guide; adhere to the back of the card front. Fixed. Adhere the slider to the top center of the card background front. ( Make sure you do not place the glue and double-sided tape too low. If you do this, the card front will not sit flat when closed. If this happens, make a slider guide for the back and place it lower in the back. ) Adhere the card front to the center of the card foot. Slide the slider in to place. 
Make and adhere all the embellishments to the card front by first, stamping, coloring, shaping the roses and leaves. For the heart frame, die cut x 4 and adhere together. Apply the clear drying glue to the frame top then dip the frame into the glitter. Put aside to dry.  For the sentiment, cut 5 layers from the winter white card stock and cut 1layer from the Lilac. Adhere all the layers together to form 3d chipboard letters as seen in the photos below. 
Adhere all the embellishments with the clear drying glue except the roses. These are put together and adhered to the card front with the hot glue gun.
 Adhere first the heart frame then arrange the leaf vines. Trimming as needed as you go. Make the placement of the roses. Slip the letters for the sentiment under the leaves and swirls as seen in the photos below.

Don't you just love these roses? I want to use them all the time now! Sorry about the hairy fairies...thats the hot glue gun again. It only shows up when the photos have been enlarged. And of course the angle the photo has been taken at. Shall try to do better next time. LOL

WINTER WONDERLAND with the Snow Kissed Collection.....

Hi, welcome to a snowy winter theme this posting. Being and getting prepared for the coming winter days can be a good thing. Another winter card to make using the 'Snow Kissed Collection'
Today, a "WINTER WONDERLAND" card

Card stock: White for stamping, Crafters Companion White Hint of Gold 300gm
Derwent Inktense color pencils: 1740 Saddle Brown, 0410 Hot red, 0750 Fuchsia, 1400 Apple green,1210 Dark Aquamarine, 0210 Cadmium yellow,
1220 Green aquamarine
Other: Double sided tape, Double sided foamtape, Heat gun, Versa-mark, Clear embossing powder, Paper distressing tool, Spellbinders matting basics S6-001


Directions:
The measurements of this finished card will be 18.7 cm x 23 cm.
Taking the crafters companion card stock cut to 29.5 cm x 20.8 cm. Along the 29.5 cm length make fold lines and fold in valley and hill form, at 6 cm and 12 cm. This will be your card front foot and stand. For the card front: Use the largest die from the matting basics die set, the card slider, the die that measures12.8 cm x 7.3 cm. From the Snow kissed paper collection find and cut to size for the matting for the card fronts, slider and card front background. The matting consists of two layers at 5 mm difference. Distress all the edges of the design paper.


* NOTE * For the card front, leave open the matting at the top between the card stock and the design paper for the slider. Once all the matting has been adhered, adhere the card front and the slider in place. Find the sentiment, cut out and distress. Stamp the Spruce trees with clear embossing powder, die cut, shape then apply the white drying glue to the treetops and branches to form the snow layers. Cut the leaf boarder from the design paper. Stamp with gold embossing powder the Frolicking Frosty and the snowflakes. Apply glitter to the snowflakes with the aid of the clear drying glue. Color the Frolicking Frost’s. Stamp with the archival black ink the Frosty image. Add all the embellishments to the card front with the double side tape / double dots and clear drying glue. To finish the card, apply the white drying glue to all the treetops, branches and all the snow lines. Ready to go.

Well if winter has not hit you yet...lets hope later when it does you can make your own  Mr frosty and throw a few snow balls your self. A few rounds of ice skating would not go amiss...it's on my list. I am sure hoping for snow this winter, we did not get it last year....we got the rain and cold. You have gathered I love the snow. You have to understand in New Zealand where I grew up we did not get the snow and here in Holland we don't get snowed in. 
If you only look on the up side and turn back the clock so you don't have a care in the world...yes it can be a lot of fun playing in the snow.
