Introducing a new stunning collection from Heartfelt Creations...."Sunrise Lily"

A folder full of Sunrise Lily's
So Happt Heartfelt Creations came out with a 3d Lily! A big thank you to Linda, Marisa and the team for making it happen! oxoxo

Rich and regal in appearance, along with a divine fragrant beauty and ornamental trumpet shaped blossom makes the lily flower a well known garden variety and a sure sign that spring has sprung.  Heartfelt Creations invites you to prepare to welcome the season of new beginnings, fresh starts and the bursting forth of nature with the new Sunrise Lily Collection. As the title of this assemblage suggests, it is filled with the romantic hues of a beautiful sunrise or sunset...glorious shades of pinks, oranges, and yellows  which also reflect the stunning color palette of the lily blossoms as they appear in the gardens themselves. Ravishing shades of greens, creams and whites bring a crispness and a breath of fresh air just as the spring season itself. Patterned papers reveal regal ornamental iron like scroll work, dainty lace elements and lovely vintage like floral details.  Beautiful imagery of lily filled vases, pretty flower adorned garden hats and luscious floral bouquets grace varying sized card panels, scrapbook layouts and embellishment tags, and are replicated in five sets of delicately detailed stamp illustrations.  The crowning glory to the collection itself is the dimensional lily flower that will add a touch of reality to each of your springtime creations.  So, chase away those winter blues brought on by old man winter, combat spring fever by filling your creative space with a touch of splendor as you begin creating with the Sunrise Lily Collection for the upcoming spring and Easter season.

A view with out the bow so you can see the placement of the lily clusters

You can see where the ribbon is attached to under the clusters. The ribbons are adhered with the heated glue gun.

A few shots of the front cover flower clusters. What is so wonderful with this collection, some of the stamped images that match the dies are printed on the design paper, so it is ready to go!
Now that is truly a good thing as an opption.

You think this is fun...wait till you get to see the inside!

Here you see the boarder dies used as a background on the wall, under the lily swirls. Layering of the stamped, coloured and die cut images to form the corners

I love to distress the paper edges..I know it's old hat, but it still works for me.

Organza bows always give a thankful finish.Yes, I am really into the gold embossing.
Coming up, a few close ups of the right side of the folder

You get to have a birds eye view of the walls. The structure and strength of the walls allows for extra fun! How?...by adding the 3d flower clusters to the side and base, seen in the close ups.

you can see I stamped cut and inked the edges of the sentiment. Adhered with double sided tape in place with tweezers...it was a bit fiddly...but sure worth it!

Top right flowers clusters

The flowers are adhered with the heated glue gun for a quick fix to the walls of the folder.

The stamen tips are dotted with gold rod stickles from Ranger.

A few extra close ups so you can see how the 3d lily's are placed.
...and loving that gold embossing!

...and now a close up of the walls...don't forget to ink them up so they pop.

So many close ups for you to view. I loved making this and was so happy with the end results. It is a project I had trouble sending it in...but because I have visited the CHA and had the Hearttfelt Creations booth first hand experience.... now I know.... it will be handled with love, displayed and presented in it's best light. I trust this folder is in the best hands and everyone over the world can also be inspired and share it's lustre. I also know, I shall make this again in a different form.

Now you all have a great scrappy, cutting inky day. The instructions will be below for you to have. You could also go back to the Heartfelt Creations blog and  check out all the eye candy this week there. The designs for this collection are totally amazing!
Blow you away material!

Instructions:
This project, finished size will be 16 cm x 21 cm.
Make first the box walls by cutting 2 strips 14.5 cm and 2 strips 19 cm in the length from the A4 cardstock. Score the fold lines every 3cm. Fold to make the mountain and valley folds. Trim off any excess card. Slot the corners into each other to form a rectangle box wall. Adhere the corner tops together so the box will stay together. Ink the fold edges with the Forest moss ink. To make the folder, cut 21 cm for the length x 16 cm plus 16 cm plus the spine. The spine is worked out from the height of the box wall once adherd together plus the height of your flowers sitting on top of the box wall. When you see the project you will understand this. You will need to make a join in the folder. Do this so the join falls under the design paper and box walls.
Make a lace paper border strip from the paper pad and the border dies. Trim to fit the top of the box then, adhere. For the outside and inside of the folder, cut the chosen paper from the pad 0.4cm smaller than the folder measurement, distress with the distressing tool and adhere in place. Now you can adhere the box in it’s place.
Make the bows, flowers https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pnu_xqlx060swirls and sentiments. Arrange the placement and adhere in place. Cut the ribbon ties extra long so the bow will be royal, adhere with the hot glue gun under the flowers to secure for tying. Add stickles to the flowers to give your project a finished look.
Inky hugs, sussipoppins xoxxox
